Demolition of Sailing Yacht Warna Carina

After three circumnavigations of the globe and the passing of its owner, the 1970’s built ferro-cement yacht, Warna Carina, was sadly abandoned and a decision made to demolish and dispose.

Not something we usually do, but with concrete saws the vessel was cut down into pieces leaving just the keel. Applying some rigging expertise the keel (6T) was then winched into a 20T hook bin and subsequently disposed. This eliminated the costs of cranage and provided our client with a safe and efficient demolition solution.
